CATS Tryouts!

Wed Jan 11, 2006, 12:34 PM
Mood: Musical WHEE!
Listening to: "Jellicle Songs for Jellicle Cats" from Cats
Reading: "By The Sword" by Mercedes Lackey
Watching: Naruto (TV Series), IGPX (TV Series)

One of the Little Theatres in our area is doing a production of Cats! ^^ I'm going to tryout - the tryouts are Sunday and Monday. I CAN'T FRIGGIN WAIT! I only hopw I can do this - I'm not much of a dancer usually, but I'll give it my all! I've always wanted to act, and here's my chance! I'm going to sing either the solo from "We Rise Again" or "Point of No Return" (male and female parts) from Phantom of the Opera. I LOVE to sing, and I LOVE Cats - I'm crazy about the musical. I can only hope I'll make it!

^^ Never tried out for anything except for All-County/All-District orchestra or my chorus. Haven't tried out for a choral thing in awhile, hope I can do this... ^^; I might get nervous, but I'll just keep telling myself that I can do it!

Anyway!

I miss my Dustin... He's been away for awhile now, but he did get to come back for New Years... THAT was AWESOME and made my life Soooooo much better... I mis my love...

anyway, that's what's going on in my life right now... Byebye everyone!

best of luck to you. I know the feeling well from doing solo and band stuff with sax--I do sing in choir also.

Anyway--I believe it helps to just put in your mind--hey--if I don't get it--I don't get it. If I get nervous--I get nervous.

I had stage fright many years ago and it basically killed a music career--I do perform now

By the way--many performers will take 10 mg of Indoral for the stage. You can't get the shakes on that coz it's a beta blocker. It's a blood pressure medication. 10mg is considered a nothing dose.

Of course consult with your Dr if you wanted to use that.

Good luck ; )
